Sleep In Heavenly Peace- July Community Bed Deliveries

About the Event

Help us bring our mission, "No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town," to life! On delivery day, we’ll meet at our storage unit, load up the beds, and then head out in teams to deliver and assemble them for kids right here in Northwest Arkansas. No experience is needed -- we’ll show you exactly how to put the beds together. It’s one of the most rewarding parts of what we do, as you’ll see firsthand the joy and relief a new bed brings to a child and their family. Purpose During deliveries, volunteers will assemble beds and set them up completely with all new mattresses and bedding. This simple act creates a big impact, giving kids and families the gift of a good night’s rest. Note: Volunteers under 18 are welcome, but must be part of a group with a supervising adult. Role After a short welcome and orientation, volunteers will form teams and receive delivery assignments. If you have a truck, van, or large SUV, we’d love for you to bring it to help transport beds. Impact drivers with a ½" socket are also helpful; but if you don’t have one, no worries, we have tools available to check out.
