Mark is counting down the days until his son returns from Germany, Becky is dreaming of school finally wrapping up for a slow, peaceful summer, and we celebrated our final Teacher of the Week of the school year — the wonderful Mrs. Henderson. A morning full of anticipation, gratitude, and a whole lot of heart.
Becky shared a tough moment from her 6‑year‑old’s school day and the surprising wisdom he offered that helped her pause instead of react. Ross unpacked what “busyness” really costs us when we stop being intentional. And Becky closed things out with a hilarious comedian clip about the joys of listening to your husband chew.
Ross is half way through his first full‑time week in the studio with plenty of laughs, even managing to stump the crew during the Battle of Generations. The fun kept rolling, but the heart showed up too as Chaplain Justin shared the powerful “why” behind his faith. A time of joy, surprises, and a reminder of what anchors us.

But then we stumbled into a story that raises the bar for what showing up really looks like: a firefighter who not only delivered a baby on duty, but kept walking every milestone with that baby long after the moment passed. It turned into this sweet reminder of someone who shows up with heart, consistency, and the kind of kindness that sticks around.

Ross and Becky had a blast this morning calling our Mom’s Day Out winner, Tru, whose reaction made the whole studio light up. Ross followed it up with a very insightful movie review that had the community providing feedback. And before wrapping up, everyone shared what they’re grateful for this week—a simple moment that brought a lot of heart to the show. Happy Mother's Day!
