My sister & I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge. We are in our 60s, retired & living together. This challenge helped us remember how much we appreciate each other. The little things we do for each other to show kindness & love. We extended this to our children. Sending fun & thoughtful messages each day. Thank you so much. We love your station. I'm a 65 year old ex rocker, Until I listened to your channel! My sister always had your channel on. You opened my ears, mind & heart. My Christian faith is now better than ever. Thank you from my heart. Jan
I spent my month encouraging and practicing kindness with my husband. It wasn’t always easy! We were picking up the pieces after a car accident. We were thankful no one was injured! There were times when a sharp response might’ve been my reaction, but I found that kind words really were more productive. I also spent November being ill with something that even my Dr. had! We swapped stories of what worked! Being tired all the time is no fun. Looking to a new month, we have a new car, my Dr. & I are both well and things are more positive! If only our NFL team would succeed! Actually, kind words are like a salve even when someone is disappointed or hurting. I urge you to make it a habit!
The song "Believe" by Blessing Offer is helping make a big decision. The song came on one day when I was thinking about what to do and the lyrics, "But what if you know something I don't? What if you will something I won't? If you don't give me what I want
But you give me what I need Is that enough to" This part of the song helped me make the right decision.
In 2018 I was diagnosed with cancer in the sinuses. It was a rough road going through it but today I am cancer free. I am working for Uber and Lyft, where periodically I can share my story with others how God has changed my life for the better and to make things a little bit different. I keep snacks and drinks in my car for people to take when they get into my car so they are ready for the day and I play KLRC on my radio, so they can also listen to a positive message if I can’t talk to them so either way they hear God‘s word. I am blessed for KLRC and really enjoy listening to them as I drive..
A local nursing home-promenade health and rehab in rogers had a wedding or commitment ceremony between two residents that met in the nursing home. Local businesses donated towards some things but the nursing home staff came together to put on a wedding at no cost to their residents and are now arranging a “honeymoon” date night out!
I would love to challenge 19 other nurses to match my gift today. I believe that there are that many nurses out in the listening community feel that they were called by God into the nursing profession. Along with all of technical skills and knowledge, true caring for people and compassion comes from the Holy Spirit. Nurses are able to impact our patients and families lives in the darkest times and joyous times. I only found KLRC a few months ago. It was playing at a car wash of all things in Centerton. I haven't changed the station since. It just makes my spirit full of joy as I listen. Thank you for all you do!
I turned 30 this year and have been listening to KLRC since I was 10 years old. KLRC has been with me through the lowest lows in my life thus far: through infertility, then pregnancy, anxiety, depression, panic attacks that last hours at a time, loss of family members, and just some plain hard days. I've had too many right song at the right time moments where Jesus battles with me and I'm so incredibly grateful for KLRC providing that lifeline when I'm feeling alone, even with a full roster of supporting family and friends. Thank you for being the hands, feet, and mouths of Jesus in our broken world. We truly love you!
Hello,
My name is Ryan and my wife is Carrie and this is our story of how KLRC was used by Jesus to bring us back to him!
Carrie and I have known each other since the 6th grade! Never really getting around each other through school we eventually get together in November 2018. Both of us had a past of addiction and abuse and as we got together we tried to center our relationship around Jesus. The first 2 years were rough. We had a miscarriage and were battling inner demons and depression and trying not to relapse. One day we started just listening to KLRC and that day was the beginning of us building a solid foundation in Christ. Listening to KLRC isn’t just listening to music for us. It’s our WORSHIP time. It’s our stay on track during a hard day time! It’s our reminder who really is in control! It’s our link to help bring on the spirit of Christ into our vehicle as we drive through our day! We love it so much that we are bummed when Christmas comes and we just hear Jingle bells instead of raise a hallelujah. (Totally fine though we will manage). We depend on this station to keep bring the positive difference in everyone's life! Please. If you are reading this and feel the need to help support this radio station then do it! This isn’t just music to the ears. It’s helping Jesus bring the true living water to those who are still thirsty! God bless you!!!
In the last two years my family has faced so many challenges (being struck by the May 2024 tornado), the unexpected cancer diagnosis and sudden death of my father-in-law and what felt like so many other (seemingly) minor inconveniences that added insult to injury and lots of emotional exhaustion in our time of sorrow. We were blessed with the welcome, unexpected addition of our fourth daughter who was due four days before the death anniversary of my father-in-law and I know her life is a precious gift from the Lord who redeemed such a hard time of year and showed us joy after a year of chaos and heartache. She was born four weeks early and incredibly healthy, praise God! Whenever this song comes on the radio it feels like an exhale and brings calm to my soul. I know people have been praying so deeply for us in this season (and before, too)! It is a reminder that for all of my days I have been prayed for, even if I didn’t realize it, and I know those prayers have been answered during every season of my life even if I didn’t see where God was leading me in different times. My greatest blessings and answered prayers are the gift of my incredible husband, moving throughout the country that provided beautiful relationships including making NWA home and four daughters (my dream was always to have three girls — four is the greatest blessing). I love this so and hope it is played often! I am going to see Ben in concert this week and cannot wait! I know Someone must have been praying for me.
