Bing Crosby, born Harry Lillis Crosby on May 3, 1903, in Tacoma, Washington, was an iconic American singer and actor who became one of the most popular and influential musical artists of the 20th century. Known for his smooth baritone voice, Crosby recorded over 1,600 songs and starred in more than 70 feature films. His signature song, "White Christmas," remains one of the best-selling singles of all time. Crosby's career spanned from the 1920s to the 1970s, during which he won an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in Going My Way (1944). He passed away on October 14, 1977, near Madrid, Spain.
