Your Support Powers Miracles

Do miracles still exist? I overheard that question being asked recently and I immediately began thinking about the miracles – large and small – that are all around us every day. Hearing stories of real-life miracles is incredibly encouraging and hope-giving. Hearing that you got to play a role in one of those miracles is even more sweet.

Meet Jessica. Her life is a testimony of the miracles God is still doing today and an example of how He uses YOUR support to make it happen! Jessica was born into a life of addiction:

I'm the oldest of four and I started using drugs with my mom at the age of 15. The life that addiction leads you is dark. It led me to an event that almost took my life. I didn't know Christ.

I ended up incarcerated and sentenced to rehab. I arrived in shackles and realized I couldn't carry this pain alone anymore. I prayed and meant it. It was then that I knew He was my God and I was his daughter. Through his grace, I found healing and peace and He transformed my fear into faith.

God met Jessica in that moment and changed her life. That’s her first miracle. Her next miracle would come later as Jessica battled depression from the things she’d experienced before meeting Jesus.

I was on my way to work one day and I was struggling with depression. I was listening to KLRC and I heard these lyrics from Lauren Daigle: “I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I'm not enough…”   For weeks, I was hearing those voices and they were so real. I started to believe them.

I broke down and finally went and told my doctor. God met me once again right where I was.   I always tell people that KLRC saved my life. It was God who used KLRC to put that song on at that very moment to save my life.  Today, I work at the very facility where I received treatment for my addiction It's just amazing!
