There's no end to the creativity of local nonprofits in Northwest Arkansas, but Rockin' Baker might take the cake... I mean... bread!
When Daymara decided to create a place for people with disabilities to develop job skills baking bread seemed like a natural fit for the endeavor. After all, her last name is Baker.
Today, Cadets at the Rockin' Bakery Academy learn more than just how to make the perfect loaf of bread, they learn job skills that can be used to build their future careers in whatever field they want to pursue.
We got to take a behind the scenes look at the work at the bakery and see how the Cadets are using their skills to feed the community.
