Join Us as a Phone Volunteer

At KLRC, one of our favorite things is seeing how God uses a simple song or an encouraging word to make a positive difference. But we can’t do it alone! And as part of our KLRC listening family, we’d love for you to be a part of our upcoming Spring Fundraiser!

We’re looking for people to join us as Phone Volunteers from March 9-13 during the Spring Fundraiser Celebration (the biggest need is in the early mornings and late afternoons on Tuesday-Thursday!).

It’s More Than Just Answering Phones

If you’ve ever called in to share a prayer request or a story of how God is working in your life, you know how much a personal connection matters. As a volunteer, you aren't just taking a pledge—you are the first person a listener talks to when they decide to join how God is at work through KLRC. You’re part of the team that keeps Hope on the airwaves!

What Can You Expect?

If you’re a little nervous about the "how-to," don't worry—we’ve got your back. Here’s what’s waiting for you at the station:

• Training & Encouragement: We’ll walk you through everything you need to know before you get started. You’ll feel like a pro in no time!

• A Seat at the Table: You’ll enjoy delicious meals and snacks from some of our favorite local businesses and cooks.

• Front-Row Inspiration: You’ll get to hear firsthand stories of how God is moving in our community. It’s a beautiful reminder that He is always at work.

• Behind-the-Scenes Fun: Ever wondered what the studio looks like during a fundraiser? You’ll get a "backstage pass" to the excitement and even get to hang out with our on-air DJs! Spoiler: there is a LOT of confetti.

• Community & Connection: Many of our volunteers walk away with new friends. There’s something special about serving alongside people who share your heart for Jesus.

Whether you have two hours to spare or a whole afternoon, we would be so honored to have you. The first step is to sign up as an official KLRC volunteer. Once you're in the system, you can pick the shifts that fit your schedule best.
