Most of the time when I think of homelessness I picture people sleeping on park benches in the midst of a bustling city. But, that’s not always what the homelessness looks like, especially in Northwest Arkansas. Just because homelessness isn’t as obvious here as it is in major cities doesn’t mean it’s not an issue. It is. And it is an issue that Genesis House is working hard to resolve.
Genesis House is providing shelter and resources for families in Siloam Springs who find themselves without a safe place to call home.
This month they are celebrating the opening of their tiny house which will serve families for a 90 day transition season during which time they work with a case worker to develop a plan for long term housing solutions.
If you’d like to find out more information about how Genesis House is serving our community and how you can partner with them you can visit them here.
