"Feel The Love" AC Giveaway

You know someone. Maybe it's a neighbor. A coworker. A family from church. Someone who's quietly struggling through the summer heat with no relief in sight.

Every year, KLRC listeners and Sam's Furniture come together for the Feel the Love AC Giveaway — and every year, families in Northwest Arkansas get more than just a cool home. They get a reminder that they are seen and loved.

This year, we want to do it again — and we need your help. Nominate a family today and help someone Feel the Love this summer! (And if you'd like to donate an AC for giveaway, more information is below.)

Interested in Donating an AC for the Giveaway?

We've found that average price per 10,000 BTU unit ranges between $300 - $350. One of the simplest ways to get involved would be to team up with those in your workplace or small group at church to fund an AC unit.

You could even order online and have them shipped directly to KLRC or drop them off in person. We'll make sure that your AC is received by someone who truly needs it.

A Few Nomination Stories From Last Year:

"John and Irma have worked physically hard jobs all of their adult lives and raised several children. They now live in a very small travel trailer because of tough finances that has no working air conditioning. Because they are humble, John said that they can live without air conditioning but with physical difficulties and health difficulties an air conditioned travel trailer would give them the option to have cool air when they need it. What I love about John is that he always has a joke or funny story to tell. He shares them with the medical professionals and anyone else that is with John."

"Family of 5 and their AC went out. They had a very old system. Hard to get it replaced... Children are 7, 4, and 18 months old. It is SO hot."
