Ozarks 250 Block Party

Celebrate America’s semiquincentennial at a free campus festival honoring the Ozarks' diverse tapestry with live music by Nick Shoulders, cultural dances, regional speakers, and food trucks. This family-friendly event features mini-train rides, traditional blacksmithing, and hands-on activities alongside the debut of the new Our Changing Landscape exhibit.

The Springdale Municipal Airport will be hosting an America 250 celebration on Saturday.  

The Helos, Wings and Wheels event will feature a car show, helicopter rides, local food, vendors and more.  The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with registration for the car show opening at 9 a.m. Registration is $20, benefiting the Show Drive Give scholarship, which helps students get into trade school.  Parking will be available at the Northwest Technical Institute and Jones Elementary, with free shuttle buses running every 10 minutes.
