Sometimes, it feels like you spend your whole life just waiting to be invited. Invited to the sleepover. The prom. The relationship. The job. But the greatest invitation comes from Jesus. If you’ve already accepted it, you know… this is The Invitation you were always waiting for.
This Easter, KLRC wants to team up with you to extend The Invitation! Think of one person you could invite to join you for church on Easter Sunday… and then, ask!
If that makes you a little nervous, that's ok! We've put together some ideas and extra resources to help. You can even request a Bible to gift to the person you invite. (The Bible request form is at the bottom of this page.)
1. Quick Text or Social Media Message (perfect for coworkers or neighbors you already chat with)
Hey [Name]! 👋
Quick question—would you like to come to church with me on Easter Sunday? Our service is all about hope and fresh starts, and it’s super welcoming even if you’ve never been before. I’d love to have you join me—no pressure at all if it’s not your thing.
I’ll save a seat right next to me (and coffee is on me afterward 😊). Service starts at [time] at [Church Name]. Let me know if you’d like to come!
Have a great day!
2. Hand-Written Note (great for neighbors—leave it in their mailbox or on their door)
Hi [Name],
Happy almost Easter! 🌷
I’ve been thinking about how Easter is all about hope and fresh starts. Our church is putting on a special Sunday service that’s really uplifting—even if you’ve never been before or it’s been a long time.
I’d love for you to come with me. I’ll even save you a seat beside me and meet you at the entrance so you don’t have to walk in alone.
Service is [date] at [time] at [Church Name]. No dress code, no expectations—just good company and a message of hope.
Let me know if you’d like to join me!
[Your Name]
