An Update From Kara

I am writing to share my gratitude with you for your selfless and gracious gifts that keep KLRC on the air. Last spring, my friends at KLRC invited me to share my story with you. Maybe you remember hearing it? (If not, you can watch the video here.)

I found KLRC on my 20th day of recovery from alcoholism. God spoke to me through the car stereo that day as I listened to the song "Overcomer" by Mandisa. God used you and that song to help me make it to Day 21.

Today, I’m excited to give you the update that because of your support of KLRC, I am 10 months sober! Your support makes positive words and encouraging music possible. You help provide a safe place for those of us that need a reminder that we aren’t alone. You help give me the encouragement to keep fighting on this road to recovery because I know you are fighting with me.

My story has impacted so many, and I am blessed beyond words that I’ve been able to share it. But I am only one person. Every single one of us has a story.
