A Song at the Right Moment

It was completely unplanned. You were just driving to work, or making dinner, or sitting in traffic... and then a song came on. And suddenly it felt like God was speaking directly into whatever you were carrying that day.

After more than 20 years of ministry, Mike has heard hundreds of stories that all start the same way: "I was going through fill-in-the-blank... and then there was a moment. A song. Something the DJ said."

And then it became something more than a random coincidence.

"It became an appointment with God."

That's what we love about Christian radio: God doesn't wait for people to be ready. Through KLRC, He sneaks into kitchens and cars and office cubicles, and meets people exactly where they are. Not because we planned it perfectly, but because He did.

We see it here in our community all the time.

James drives for Uber and Lyft, and every single shift he turns on KLRC before his first rider ever opens the door. He tells his passengers, "You're not my passenger, you're my guest," and then he asks if he can play the radio. So far, everyone has said yes. What happens next is something James can only describe as God opening doors he couldn't open on his own.

Terri put it simply: "It seems like music brings my focus back when the world hits me. Thanks for being there."

We didn't know James would turn his car into a mission field. We didn't know what Terri was carrying when she turned on the radio that morning. But God did.
