Gratitude Through Cancer

During the fall of 2024, I had a couple of surgeries, the second one being a cancer removal from my left kidney. At some point, I was very down and had no energy. I felt I had reached the bottom that day. I had just dropped off my kids at school, and as usual, I had KLRC on. “Gratitude” by Brandon Lake started playing, and I just started singing it and worshiping; I felt something different. The lyrics just made sense that time, even though I had heard it multiple times before. It was genuine worship, and I even cried. By the end of that song, I was re-energized. My next six-month imaging is tomorrow. Cancer or no cancer, God is King, and in the end, His kingdom will prevail. Thank you for what you do.
