HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) promotes preschool readiness and supports parents as their children's first teacher by giving them the tools, skills, and confidence they need to work with their children in the home. Families participating in HIPPY receive all books and learning materials free of charge. A trained home visitor meets parents in their home weekly to teach the parent the curriculum. The parent then works with their child 15-20 minutes a day throughout the week. We serve families in Benton, Washington, and Madison counties with 2, 3, and 4-year-olds.
