Brenda Lee, born Brenda Mae Tarpley on December 11, 1944, in Atlanta, Georgia, is a legendary American singer known for her powerful voice and versatility across rockabilly, pop, country, and Christmas music. Nicknamed "Little Miss Dynamite," she achieved her first Billboard hit at age 12 and gained fame with classics like "I'm Sorry" and "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree." With over 100 million records sold worldwide, Brenda Lee is one of the most successful American artists of the 20th century. She is the first woman inducted into both the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
