Bobby Helms, born in 1933 in Bloomington, Indiana, is best known for his 1957 holiday hit "Jingle Bell Rock," which has become a Christmas classic. Starting his career in a country duo with his brother, Helms gained fame with solo hits like "Fraulein" and "My Special Angel." Despite never matching the success of "Jingle Bell Rock," he continued to tour and record for three decades. Helms passed away in 1997, leaving a lasting legacy in both country and Christmas music.
