You Can Share Hope

Let’s take a trip together as the KLRC family. It’s virtual. You don’t have to pack a thing, take the kids out of school or request PTO. Just close your eyes (well, one eye – you’ll need the other to read!) and imagine that we just arrived at our destination.

It is here that you will find a party taking place. There’s so much joy. Everyone is dancing… they’re singing… they’re literally saying “thank you, Jesus” as they enjoy the celebration. Their joy is so contagious, all of us are smiling just watching this party take place.

Guess where we are. Would you believe me if I told you we’re at a nursing home? What if I told you it is the Alzheimer's and Dementia unit at this nursing home? It’s true. And, what if I told you that through your support of KLRC, you helped make that party happen?

I am so thankful for the KLRC app. At my job, I am outside the listening area, but the app makes it possible to listen. I work in a nursing home on the Alzheimer’s and dementia unit. I put in a request for a Bluetooth speaker that I could connect my phone to and listen to KLRC. Of course, they wanted to know what it was so I told them and they approved my request today. I got my speaker and was able to listen at work. All my patients were dancing, singing, happy and were saying thank you Jesus and it wouldn’t be possible without the app. All my patients were calmer and it was a good day today. I cannot wait to listen every day.
