Better

Last week, our co-worker Lauren shared a few thoughts with our KLRC Insiders (you can join too) about one of her favorite portions of Scripture. This week we're going to reflect on it as our Words of Hope.  Here's a little bit of what she shared (I love the promise at the end):

For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. 
Psalm 84:11

God promises to withhold no good things. Sometimes I question if God is holding out on me. What a silly thought! I think that if I just had [fill in the blank], I would be happy and finally content. Or that if I just become more disciplined I would earn some of God's goodness. 

But God promises he will not hold out on us. He also reminds us in Romans 8:32 that if he gave us Jesus, will he not also graciously give us all things? All the things I desire pale in comparison to the gift of Jesus. Praise God for his goodness to us!
