Potter's House is a bridge to strengthen and connect communities across economic and cultural lines.
Potter’s House believes firmly that our hope is in Jesus. Jesus is our hope for salvation, reconciliation to God, and reconciliation to our world here. We believe that Jesus has laid out a path of life for us that leads to peace with others, impact on our community and peace with our God. Potter’s House is committed to working toward a fulfilling future for our families.
Potter’s House began in 1998 when Shawn Schwartzman met a few families in South Fayetteville and started to spend time with their children. They began to read the Bible, talk about Jesus, and hang out together. Over time more children and students joined them and more adults came who wanted to be involved.
Many of these same families are involved in Potter’s House today.
Wet Cement Preschool- Our preschool program is designed to come alongside families to help prepare children for kindergarten both academically and socially within a fun, safe, and educational environment.
Small Groups- Our small groups are designed to help students learn more about Jesus, deepen their friendships, and develop better relationships with their small group leaders.
Leadership Development Program- Our leadership development program is designed to build and release spiritual leaders into the community.
Adult Programs- Designed to provide a structure for men and women to connect through community through community and to build rich relationships.
