Mission: Nourishing Northwest Arkansas communities by feeding hungry people.
Vision: Being the leader to end hunger in Northwest Arkansas through the building of partnerships.
About: The Northwest Arkansas Food Bank was founded in 1988 as a 501(c)(3) non profit organization to serve Benton, Carroll, Madison, and Washington counties by providing an affordable and credible food source to our partner agencies serving the hungry. The NWA Food Bank currently has over 150 partner agencies ranging from food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and many more. In 2016 the food bank distributed 11.4 million pounds of food to these partners. According to Feeding America, over 70,000 people in NWA are unsure where their next meal is coming from. With your support, the NWA Food Bank can use every $1 donated to create 11 meals for a family in need.
Services/How You Can Help:
Donate: One of the easiest ways to support the Food Bank is to give a monetary gift. For every $1 you donate to the NWA Food Bank, we are able to provide 11 meals to people in need in our community. 96.4% of the money you donate goes directly toward food purchase, and serves individuals here in Northwest Arkansas.
