Mission: Child Evangelism Fellowship is a Bible-centered, worldwide organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.
About: CEF began in 1937. Since its founding over 80 years ago, the ministry is now in almost all of the countries of the world and in all 50 states in the U.S. It is now the largest evangelistic ministry to children in the world.
Services: CEF has 2 main ministries that has training available for both. The first ministry, the heart of CEF, is the Good News Club. Clubs meet once a week during the school year in pubic schools, community centers, homes, churches and other locations. The second ministry is the 5-Day Club. During summer months children gather in backyards, community centers, parks and other locations for 5 consecutive days to hear Bible lessons and a missionary story and join in exciting games and activities.
Volunteer opportunities: Interested people and pastors can contact our local director for Northwest Arkansas CEF, David Day, for information on trainings for volunteers. Also, CEF is interested in all local churches to provide various teacher trainings to strengthen the churches' already vital teaching staffs, whether or not the church decides to do a Good News Club or 5- Day Club.
