Johnson Ave., Springdale AR 72764 Admission: free (registration required) Join the Illinois River Watershed Partnership and the Shiloh Museum for a day of learning, creativity, and action as we explore how to transform traditional lawns into vibrant habitats that manage storm water and reduce downstream flooding. Start the morning with coffee and breakfast as we dive into the basics of watersheds, storm water, and their connection to local streams, including Spring Creek. Discover how naturalized lawns and depressed vegetated areas like rain gardens can benefit your home and community, then design your own yard transformation with guidance from IRWP. Over lunch, enjoy an engaging presentation on the history of Spring Creek, followed by a tour of its restored native plant buffer.
