Responding to the Crisis of Technology Addiction

About the Event

SelfCtrl Founder Ian McCready and Dr. Chad Imhoff, Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Director at The Joshua Center, are offering a free 3-hour training designed for mental health professionals, church pastors and staff, and Christian leaders who want to better support individuals struggling with technology overuse. This session will explore the impact of dopamine and unhealthy technology habits, the consequences of excessive tech use, and practical recovery plans for healing. Participants will also learn how to serve as effective first responders and discover valuable resources to support those in need. The training will take place on Friday, February 28th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the New Heights Church offices in Fayetteville, located at 3011 N. College Ave. in the Fiesta Square Shopping Center. While the event is free, registration is required to ensure an accurate headcount. Additionally, therapists can earn 3 Continuing Education (CE) credits for $20.
