What three words would your loved ones use to describe you?

Creative, excitable, helper.

Finish this sentence: “When I was five, I was pretty sure I’d be _______ when I grew up.”

A meteorologist! Watching the Local on the 8s with its snazzy saxophone music was actually one of my favorite things as a kid.

What could we probably find you doing when you’re not at the station?

Playing a video or board game, caring for my plants, or hiking/packrafting/biking somewhere with my husband.

If you wrote a book about your life, what would the title be?

How to Hello – if you join me for any shopping, eating out or an event, I can’t help but become besties with the staff wherever we are; some great Godwinks have come from showing gratitude for their work!

What is your favorite quote?

How would you describe your job to an alien who had no idea what you were talking about?

I talk to people through a microphone that magically reaches them during their day wherever they are. I also hear what my friends say into the same magical microphone and tell people about it through this thing called social media on a place called the internet, where anyone anywhere can access anything anytime.

What’s a song on KLRC that everyone should hear and why?

The World Edition of How Great is Our God by Chris Tomlin is my favorite. I was at the live premiere of the song, and the realization that this is what heaven will be like with every tribe, tongue, and nation praising God was one of the most wonderful glimpses of eternity I’ve ever seen here on earth.

What is one of your favorite memories involving the station or team?

Back in 8th grade, I got to job shadow at the station for their afternoon show. Live on air, I was asked how old I was… and I blanked because I was so scared. I can laugh about it now!
