Free Concert with Jamie Kimmett
We are excited to have you see Memorial Park and the Chautauqua Amphitheater for the first time. Join us for the celebration Saturday, May 25 beginning at 10:00 a.m. for the ribbon cutting ceremony followed by three concerts. The whole day is free to you and family friendly.
At 10:00 join us for the ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the park. Mayor John Mark Turner will speak along with representatives from the Walton Family Foundation and CARBO, the architect charged with the design of the park. Around 10:20 a.m. see Siloam Springs local bluegrass band The Butler Creek Boys. As the band plays enjoy ice cream from Pure Joy. The first 150 scoops are on us. Head downtown or to one of our local restaurants for lunch. Come back to Memorial Park around 2:00 pm for Scottish born KLRC contemporary Christian artist Jamie Kimmett. Enjoy the afternoon hanging out in the park or shopping in Siloam Springs. Be sure to come back for our headliner at 6:00 p.m., Backroad Anthem!
