Veterans with a Future (Veteran Event)
Location: Fayetteville First Assembly of God, 550 E. 15th St.
Honoring our nation's warriors with meaningful ministry, Veterans with a Future is a Christian fellowship for military veterans. The group meets the last Saturday of the month for camaraderie, prayer and Christian service.
Places of Refuge Seminar (Community Event)
Location: First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs
The Crisis Response Unit of Siloam Springs is sponsoring a "Places of Refuge" Seminar. They invite you to join them for a two day seminar, presented by local and national speakers, that will provide information about how to minister during times of crisis, how to begin preparing your family and community, the importance of Places or Communities of Refuge, and share with you why they believe it is important to be trained and educated in these areas. Symphony of Northwest Arkansas Announces Auditions for SoNA Singers (Auditions)
The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) is pleased to announce auditions for the SoNA Singers, an auditioned group of the region’s best choral singers. Led by Director Terry Hicks — one of Arkansas’ most respected choral conductors — this ensemble performs choral works, both a cappella and with orchestral accompaniment. It also serves as the anchor of the larger SoNA Chorale, which performs choral masterworks with the Symphony, conducted by SoNA Music Director Paul Haas.Audition requirements include one solo (oratorio, aria, or art song preferred), pitch memory exercises, intervals and scales (major and minor). Chiefs vs. Rams Challenge Blood Drive (Blood Drive)
This year during the 14th annual Chiefs vs. Rams Challenge Blood Drive, every donor has the chance to win. All participants at any CBCO blood drive September 23rd through 29th will be automatically entered to win NFL ticket packages or autographed NFL memorabilia. Blood donors are also encouraged to vote for their favorite NFL team online. Voting opens September 23rd.
N.E. UPC Craft Fair (Craft Fair)
Time: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: 533 E. Appleby Road, Fayetteville
Community vendors will be coming together to display their work, along with local businesses showcasing their newest products and services. There will also be food available for purchase at the event, along with a bounce house for the kids.
FRIENDS OF THE POOR WALK (Walk/Run)
Time: 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM
This is the 6th Annual Walk to raise public awareness of members of our community who struggle with basic human needs of food, clothing, and shelter. All proceeds from this event go directly to the food pantry and financial assistance program for the needy in Benton County. If interested you can register at the website below or register the day of the walk.
4th Annual Armed Forces Benefit Motorcycle Ride (Benefit)
Time: 9:15 AM to 2:00 PM
Location: 1674, 830 S. Lincoln St., Siloam Springs
Operation Renewal is hosting a benefit motorcycle ride to raise money for resources that help strengthen and create deeper relationships in military families between spouses, parents and their children who are affected by deployment. We will be honoring one of these families at our event.The benefit ride will be Saturday, October 5th. Pre-registration is $20.00 per rider. Registration on event day is from 9:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. and is $25.00 per rider. For the first 30 individuals to sign up they will receive a collectable t-shirt free of charge. Riders will start from and end at VFW Post 1674, 830 S. Lincoln St., (SR 59 S.), Siloam Springs. Open Studio "Arkansas Barns" by artist George Dombek (Art Show)

George Dombek, acclaimed artist, invites the public to his studio to view his latest project – Arkansas Barns. This series, using Dombek's unique style and perspective, centers on watercolor paintings of barns from all over the state. The open studio will also feature many of his earlier works. Outside of the event hours, Dombek's studio is open by appointment.
Saturday Surprise (Children's Event)
