Kids Night Out Registration (Child Care)
Location: NWA Mercy Family YMCA

Are you looking for a night out while your kids have a blast at the Y? if so, bring your children to the YMCA’s Kids night Out! this program is offered for children 2 to14 years and involves activities such as ping pong, organized games, crafts and lots of fun! All children will be served dinner between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. Dinner will include a slice of pizza, bag of apples and a drink. Activities start at 6:00 p.m. and run until 10:00 p.m.

Downtown Rogers Restaurant Week (Community Event)

Annual Lawnmower Tune Up (Fundraiser)
Location: Abernathy Agriscience Building (1194 W. Cassatt Rd.)

The Agricultural Mechanization (AgMech) club and the Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow (ACT) will be hosting the “Lawnmower Tune Up” fundraiser April 5-6.The event will be held at the Abernathy Agriscience Building at the Arkansas Agricultural Research and Extension Center (1194 W. Cassatt Rd.) off Garland Avenue, approximately two miles north of the U of A campus.Individuals interested in Lawnmower Tune Up can drop off lawnmowers between 1-6 p.m. on Friday, April 5, and from 8-11 a.m. on Saturday, April 6. All lawnmowers will need to be picked up by 5 p.m. Saturday. Customers will be notified by phone when their mowers are ready for pick up.The cost for lawnmower maintenance is $30 per mower plus oil and parts; the average cost is $37. The tune up includes: changing spark plugs, filter and oil, and sharpening and balancing mower blade. Only push mowers in working order will be accepted.

33rd Mission Conference (Missions Event)
Location: Nicodemus Church, Siloam Springs

The theme of the conference is "teaching all the nations". The speakers will be Mr. and Mrs. Cole who teach in Thailand and are currently on leave teaching at John Brown University. Everyone is invited to this conference! For more information, call 479-524-5489

Benefit Bass Fishing Tournament (Fishing Event)
Time: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Location: Prairie Creek Marina

Springdale FFA is hold a benefit bass fishing tournament on April 6th. Check in is 6am-6:45am and take off is at 7am. Weigh in is at 3pm. Entree Fee is $70 plus $10 (optional) Big Bass Pool. Springdale High School's FFA Chapter would love your support.

Growing Opportunities Inc. Pilot Project (Community Outreach)
Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Tontitown, Arkansas

We are piloting a project meant to assist those with "agriculture" disabilities, or "brown thumbs." We are holding classes in Tontitown offering instruction on everything from seed planting, to transplanting to a garden. Including hands on experience with farm animals, and for those interested, support with an entry in the Washington County Fair. We will meet on Saturday's bimonthly through May for 6 sessions. The special exhibit will feature the private collections of many northwest Arkansas residents for one day only. Some of the collections featured are arrowheads, vintage cookbooks, stamps, vintage glassware and dishes, vintage irons, vintage ice tools and copper hat ashtrays from the 1950’s. Location: First United Methodist Church, Rogers

CBCO needs your help to meet the growing need for blood in the Ozarks. Eligibility requirements include weighing at least 110 pounds, being in general good health and present required ID. The First United Methodist Church of Bentonville is offering their 13 week GriefShare Support Group, Saturdays from 5:30-7:30 pm.
