Couch Potato Walkers Registration (Classes)
Location: NWA Mercy Family YMCA

This six-week program is designed to get you off your seat and on your feet. This program is specifically designed for beginning walkers. The concentration of this program is walking a little farther or a little faster each week to achieve the goal of walking three miles at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Saturday, April 27. Growing Opportunities Inc. Pilot Project (Community Outreach)

Location: Tontitown, Arkansas

We are piloting a project meant to assist those with "agriculture" disabilities, or "brown thumbs." We are holding classes in Tontitown offering instruction on everything from seed planting, to transplanting to a garden. Including hands on experience with farm animals, and for those interested, support with an entry in the Washington County Fair. We will meet on Saturday's bimonthly through May for 6 sessions. Cross Church Fayetteville is hosting a six-week class for married couples. "The Art of Marriage" will begin at 5:00 p.m. this Saturday, Feb. 2 and continue Sunday nights from Feb 10-March 10 @ 5:00. "The Art of Marriage" was produced by Family Life Ministries. Topics will include: God's purpose for marriage, overcoming isolation, fulfilling responsibilities, communication and conflict, intimacy, and leaving a legacy. Through the course of the night, the characters confront their hopes, apprehensions, fears, and regrets about family, marriage, and the fleeting nature of time. The audience will face their own questions regarding their most important relationships, and ultimately find encouragement and strength In This House.
