Couch Potato Walkers Registration (Classes)
Location: NWA Mercy Family YMCA

This six-week program is designed to get you off your seat and on your feet. This program is specifically designed for beginning walkers. The concentration of this program is walking a little farther or a little faster each week to achieve the goal of walking three miles at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Saturday, April 27. Registation deadline is Saturday, March 16.

Growing Opportunities Inc. Pilot Project (Community Outreach)
Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Tontitown, Arkansas

We are piloting a project meant to assist those with "agriculture" disabilities, or "brown thumbs." We are holding classes in Tontitown offering instruction on everything from seed planting, to transplanting to a garden. Including hands on experience with farm animals, and for those interested, support with an entry in the Washington County Fair. We will meet on Saturday's bimonthly through May for 6 sessions.
