Gallons To-Go Fundraiser (Fundraiser)

Chick-fil-A (Rogers' stores only) is having a Tea Fundraiser for the SCC the month of October. For each gallon of tea sold in October, Chick-fil-A will donate $1 to the Samaritan Community Center.

Hope and Help for the Single Mom (Bible Study)

Hope and Help for the Single Mom is a dvd/book based bible study to help help single moms face the challenges of being a single parent in a busy world. The message brings teaching of How God loves each lady and wants to give them a life of purpose and meaning, harmony and balance. the group is open to all single moms in the Northwest Arkansas area.
10th Annual Cut for the Cure (Fundraiser)

The evening will include a smoked chicken dinner, silent auction, drawings for two major prizes, including a camera from Bedford Camera & Video, music by the Kelly Road Band, and Salon Spa services. The event is free for all attendees, however, the services purchased that night and the silent auction and drawing proceeds will all go to the local Komen for the Cure. The Stroke Survivors Group meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 3-5pm at Southside Chruch of Christ in Rogers. Group is not sponsored by the Church if Christ - however they gracously allow of to utilize there facility. Stroke is a mjor health challenge - the 4th leading cause of death - yet more & more folks survive which presents its own set of challenges. Group provides support to survivors & their loved ones - discusses anything & everything - and provides an opportunity for all participants to ' reach out & touch someone who knows what its like'
