Benton County residents are called to a day of prayer and fasting on Tuesday, Oct 9. Gallons To-Go Fundraiser (Fundraiser)

Chick-fil-A (Rogers' stores only) is having a Tea Fundraiser for the SCC the month of October. For each gallon of tea sold in October, Chick-fil-A will donate $1 to the Samaritan Community Center.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (Fundraiser)
Location: Chevrolet, Bentonville
Locally owned and operated Nunnally Chevrolet is proving once again that they always put their community first. The dealership in Bentonville, AR, will be transformed during October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Look for lots of pink, including the building, the employees’ attire and the complimentary wristbands given out. During this month a portion of the proceeds from the sales of all new or used vehicles purchased at Nunnally Chevrolet will go to the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” campaign.

The NWA Mothers of Multiples Club (NWA MOMC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for moms of twins, triplets and higher order multiples. We are the ONLY non-profit organization holding a consignment sale in the NWA area. Proceeds from the sale benefit NWA MOMC. Many unsold items are donated to Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter and Potter's House Thrift.

Mothering Matters (Mother's Group)
Time: 9:15 AM to 11:30 AM
Location: Siloam Springs Bible Church
Mothering Matters is a ministry of Siloam Springs Bible Church designed to reach out to mothers of young children. The premise of Mothering Matters is based on Titus 2:3-5 with goals of mentoring mothers in a personal way, making friends, learning parenting skills, receiving encouragement, addressing spiritual needs, gaining perspective, having some time away from the kids, receiving support from other moms, gaining instruction in values, and planning adventures with the kids. Main meetings on the first Friday feature a speaker and group discussion. A Care Group book study of "And Then I Had Kids" by Susan Alexander Yates will be offered each third Friday of the month. Quality, loving childcare by highly skilled, background-checked childcare workers is offered during monthly meetings to children ages infant through pre-kindergarten as well as homeschoolers. A suggested donation of $3 will be collected anonymously on first Fridays to cover materials.
