Wisdom at Work Conference (Conference)
Location: University of Arkansas, Fayettevill
This conference will be a place where leading edge thinkers and practitioners from the business community, the academic community, the non-profit community and the faith/spiritual community can come together to dialogue about the challenges and opportunities with integrating faith and spirituality in the workplace. The conference will focus on action-oriented outcomes such as collaborative research, co-created programs, and interdisciplinary writing projects. Who Should Attend? Business Leaders, Academics, Faith and Spiritual Leaders, Change Agents, Students. There will be free pre-conference workshops.
Gallons To-Go Fundraiser (Fundraiser)
Location: Chick-fil-A, Rogers
Chick-fil-A (Rogers' stores only) is having a Tea Fundraiser for the SCC the month of October. For each gallon of tea sold in October, Chick-fil-A will donate $1 to the Samaritan Community Center.
Arkansas Support Network Christmas (Donations)
Location: Arkansas Support Network
Arkansas Support Network is in desperate need of your help. We serve individuals with disabilities and their families in NWA. Every year, we provide holiday food, warm clothes, and gifts to individuals with disablities who would otherwise not have a Christmas. This year, we have over 200 qualified individuals (adults and children) and we are needing community support to meet these needs. Without community help, these adults and children will go without. Fueling Good (Competition)

The Samaritan Community Center is participating in a promotion with Citgo entitled FuelingGood in which 12 charities will receive one year’s worth of fuel for their organization vehicles. The organizations with the largest number of on-line votes will win. Voting begins today and continues every day through November 28th.
Election Day Count Down (Community Outreach)
Since Marion County went wet 6 years ago, burglaries alone have increased 84%. Do we really want to pay for more alcohol related social problems, unpaid emergency room bills, divorces, broken families, and alcohol related fatalities? Don't be fooled by the lie! Vote to keep Benton County dry.
Helping Hands for the Animal Shelter and Humane Society (Donations)

Collecting any and all pet related items for the Rogers Animal Shelter and Humane Society of the Ozarks from October 15-November 2. Put on by Business Ethics class group at the University of Arkansas.
Shine Your Light (Trunk or Treat)
Time: 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Location: New Life Church - Pea Ridge, AR
Shine Your Light is an outreach to the kids of Northwest Arkansas. It will be held at New Life Church in Pea Ridge which is across from Collier Drug. There will be free hot dogs, candy, games, clowns, balloons, cotton candy, and lots of fun.
Trunk or Treat (Community Event)
Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: Round Mountain Community Church
Trunk or Treat, great alternative to taking the kids from door to door to get treats on halloween! We will have a christian based theme for all trunks and candy and goodies will be given away. We will have inflatables and games, free food, and awesome fellowship! Come join us at Round Mountain Community Church! 14535 Round Mt. Community Road in Fayetteville, AR. See you there!
KidFest (Children's Event)
Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Location: Faith Builders Family Church Rogers
6th Annual KidFest, which is Faith Builders Family Church's largest community outreach. This free event is a Halloween alternative that allows kids to have a safe place to get candy, play games, win prizes, play in inflatables and rock-climbing walls, and this year we will have a car smash, petting zoo, live music and much more! Free and open to the public!
Trunk-R-Treat (Trunk or Treat)
Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: Lowell First Baptist Church
Great alternative to door to door trick or treating. Church members pass out candy from their fabulously decorated vehicles. We will be serving corn dogs, sodas/waters, and popcorn along with lots of candy.

Halo-Ween (Community Event)

Location: New Life Covenant Church 146 Mock st. Prairie Grove
New Life Covenant of P.G. is having our annual Halo-Ween event. 6-8 p.m. Wednesday the 31st food, drinks, candy, fun, games & prizes. This will be held in the back parking lot of the church. Everyone is welcome.

The Combat Team (Church Event)
Time: 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Location: First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs
This is an event for the entire family! The Combat Team is a martial arts group who use their gifts and abilities to share the love of Jesus Christ in a unique way. While they are demolishing wooden boards and concrete blocks, they will be building up their audience through encouraging testimony of God and His work. There will be opportunities to win lots of door prizes, and everyone will go home with some candy!
Ecclesia College Haunted Hayride (Fundraiser)

This is a fundraiser for the womens Ecclesia College Softball team. Just follow the signs in Farmington. Come out and help support Us! Its Fun for the whole family!

Trick-or-Cans (Ministry Event)

Location: Neighborhoods around Siloam Springs
The Every Tribe, Tongue, and Nation Gateway class from JBU will be around the city of Siloam Springs on Halloween night asking for donations of canned foods to donate to the Manna Center. We will be wearing purple "Serve Siloam" t-shirts coming door-to-door.
Haunted Carwash (Miscellaneous)

Location: Boomerang Carwash on Walnut in Rogers
Boomerang Carwask in Rogers off of Walnut turns into a spooky 3 minute ride through carwash from Dark until 10 pm the 27th through the 31st. Experiance a carwash like no other this Halloween. Scares are mild and tasteful, however might be a bit much for children under 5 due to darkness and the fact that carwash's are kinda scary anyway:) We look forward to seeing you there.
