Gallons To-Go Fundraiser (Fundraiser)
Location: Chick-fil-A, Rogers
Chick-fil-A (Rogers' stores only) is having a Tea Fundraiser for the SCC the month of October. For each gallon of tea sold in October, Chick-fil-A will donate $1 to the Samaritan Community Center.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (Fundraiser)
Location: Chevrolet, Bentonville
Locally owned and operated Nunnally Chevrolet is proving once again that they always put their community first. The dealership in Bentonville, AR, will be transformed during October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Look for lots of pink, including the building, the employees’ attire and the complimentary wristbands given out. During this month a portion of the proceeds from the sales of all new or used vehicles purchased at Nunnally Chevrolet will go to the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” campaign.
Fueling Good (Competition)
The Samaritan Community Center is participating in a promotion with Citgo entitled FuelingGood in which 12 charities will receive one year’s worth of fuel for their organization vehicles. The organizations with the largest number of on-line votes will win. Voting begins today and continues every day through November 28th.
Arkansas Support Network Christmas (Donations)

Arkansas Support Network is in desperate need of your help. We serve individuals with disabilities and their families in NWA. Every year, we provide holiday food, warm clothes, and gifts to individuals with disablities who would otherwise not have a Christmas. This year, we have over 200 qualified individuals (adults and children) and we are needing community support to meet these needs. Without community help, these adults and children will go without. Helping Hands for the Animal Shelter and Humane Society (Donations)

Location: United Bank and First Security Bank locations of NWA, Locomotion Family Fun Center, Boomerang Carwash on Walnut in Rogers
Collecting any and all pet related items for the Rogers Animal Shelter and Humane Society of the Ozarks from October 15-November 2. Put on by Business Ethics class group at the University of Arkansas.
MTMM Yard Sale Fundraiser (Fundraiser)

Jones Elementary Fall Festival (Fall Festival)

The CALL of NWA Fundraising Banquet (Foster Care)

Location: Cross Church Pinnacle Hills
The CALL in Benton and Washington Counties will be holding their annual fundraiser Friday October 26th at 6:00PM at Cross Church Pinnacle Hills in Rogers. This is an opportunity for members of the community to learn more about the CALL and the difference that it is making in Northwest Arkansas. Doors open at 5:45. Buffet line begins at 6:00 with the program starting promptly at 6:30. There is no charge for admission and dinner will be provided. There will be a silent auction with many great items available. The Mission of The CALL is to educate, equip and encourage the Christian community to provide a future and a hope for the children in foster care, with a Vision of NO waiting children in Arkansas Foster Care.
