Faith & Fitness (Health Education)
Location: 1351 S Morningside Dr in Fayetteville
Exactly what is sounds like! We do a devotional, and then get into the workout! The class is every Monday and Thursday from 7-8:15pm. anyone can come! Its free! Bring an exercise mat and (2) 5lbs dumb bells!
Gallons To-Go Fundraiser (Fundraiser)
Location: Chick-fil-A, Rogers
Chick-fil-A (Rogers' stores only) is having a Tea Fundraiser for the SCC the month of October. For each gallon of tea sold in October, Chick-fil-A will donate $1 to the Samaritan Community Center.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (Fundraiser)
Location: Chevrolet, Bentonville
Locally owned and operated Nunnally Chevrolet is proving once again that they always put their community first. The dealership in Bentonville, AR, will be transformed during October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Look for lots of pink, including the building, the employees’ attire and the complimentary wristbands given out. During this month a portion of the proceeds from the sales of all new or used vehicles purchased at Nunnally Chevrolet will go to the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” campaign.
Arkansas Support Network Christmas (Donations)
Location: Arkansas Support Network
Arkansas Support Network is in desperate need of your help. We serve individuals with disabilities and their families in NWA. Every year, we provide holiday food, warm clothes, and gifts to individuals with disablities who would otherwise not have a Christmas. This year, we have over 200 qualified individuals (adults and children) and we are needing community support to meet these needs. Without community help, these adults and children will go without. Helping Hands for the Animal Shelter and Humane Society (Donations)
Time: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: United Bank and First Security Bank locations of NWA, Locomotion Family Fun Center, Boomerang Carwash on Walnut in Rogers
Collecting any and all pet related items for the Rogers Animal Shelter and Humane Society of the Ozarks from October 15-November 2. Put on by Business Ethics class group at the University of Arkansas.
Mid-America Food Ministry (Community Outreach)
Time: 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM
Location: Fayetteville First Church of the Nazarene
Mid-America Food Ministry is your opportunity to purchase a low-cost, high-quality box of food to help your family make ends meet in these difficult times. This service is a non-profit community outreach for the sole purpose of helping make sure people have the food they need. Place your order by Oct 21st. Pick-up time is Oct 27th, 8-9 AM. Circle of Life Adult Grief Classes (Support Group)

If you have experienced the loss of a family member, friend or loved one, you may be having a hard time coping with the loss.
