CBCO Blood Drive (Blood Drive)

CBCO needs your help to meet the growing need for blood in the Ozarks. Eligibility requirements include weighing at least 110 pounds, being in general good health and present required ID.A single blood donation can save the lives of up to three people.

NWA Mercy Family YMCA Halloween Carnival/Thriller 5K (Carnival)
Time: 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Location: NWA Mercy Family YMCA
Halloween Carnival/Thriller 5K on Thursday, October 10 from 4:30-7:30pm. A Carnival for kids that includes carnival booths with candy prizes, Mad Scientist Shows (4:45 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.), bouncy houses, a pumpkin patch, coloring contest, and a costume parade. Family activities include a silent auction, costume shop, Thriller 5K/Family Fun Walk (6:00pm), and Zombie Zumba. Food Available for Purchase, $2 Child Watch (Ages 2 and under). Free Admission ($1 Individual Activity Tickets for Sale). $15 Unlimited Activity Wristband (Per child, food purchase not included).
Karaoke in the Park (Music)
Time: 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Location: Frisco Park Pavilion, Downtown Rogers
It is held every Tues, Wed, & Thurs in downtown Rogers at Frisco Park underneath the pavilion.A family friendly, free from smoke and alcohol drinking, compared to the establishments that do serve alcohol and allow cigarette smoking.

It's time to take a stand. Bullying is national epidemic in our schools and communities. Come learn how you can be a part of the solution. You can see a free viewing of the award-winning documentary "Bully" by Lee Hirsch. He will also be available for Q&A after the film. Lee is the winner of four Emmy's, among many other awards, and now leads The Bully Project, an organization dedicated to eradicating bullying in schools.
