It's "What We Learned Friday" here at the Drive-Home, an aptly-named tradition wherein we review all the things we've learned on the show this week! You'd think that if you took two good things and combined them, you'd end up with an even better thing. It's a good theory, but it doesn't always work out that way.
It's that time of year. Greeting cards are flying off the shelves. (Or at least they should be. ) This is your official reminder to buy your mom a Mother's day card if you haven't. In addition to Mother's day, graduation is just around the corner for many seniors!.
So we covered a lot of ground this afternoon on the Drive Home! Starting off with a strange conglomeration of two of my favorite things - cats and coffee. Some folks in New York City found a creative way to connect cat lovers to homeless cats waiting to be adopted.
Don't you love spring weather? The growing grass and flowers, the rain showers, and don't forget the lack of ice, sleet, and snow days! One thing about spring that I don't love quite as much (though some do!) but that's definitely necessary is spring cleaning.
Happy Spring Break! You know, unless you're like most of us, who don't really get a break on Spring Break. Most people who work keep working, and some people (looking at you, moms!) do even more work during Spring Break.
Third Day, Brandon Heath, and Mandisa are going to be in concert tomorrow, Saturday, March 15th, at the BOK Center in Tulsa! In advance of the show, Mac Powell, lead singer for Third Day, decided to drop by the Drive-Home and chat with Kara about the concert, how they have stayed inspired after 20 years as a band, and much more.
A couple of things from the show to share with you today! Some words that were especially encouraging to me today, and something just for fun (grown-ups lip-syncing Disney songs?).
We hope you're enjoying the glorious temperatures on this Monday! Here's a quick recap of what we talked about on the show today.
So, it's another snow day! And we've pretty much said all there is to say on that subject this winter, so we thought you might like to watch an inspiring video instead!.
