8 Questions with Lauren
How long have you been at KLRC?
Since April 29th, 2019!
Tell us about your family!
My parents met at JBU and have stayed put since. My mom teaches ESL at Allen Elementary and my dad works over in Rogers for Southwestern Sales Company. We love Siloam Springs, from the library summer reading program, to daddy daughter dances at the community building, to studying for finals in high school at Café. This community feels like family. I have one younger sister and a brother-in-law that I love dearly. I picked him out for her in youth group back in the day. They live in Conway, AR.
What are your favorite hobbies or interests?
I don’t have any specific hobbies but I want to always learn something new. So I taught myself to whistle and how to knit. For my next skill I’m taking a flower arranging class.
What is your favorite movie?
Sweet Home Alabama
Who is your favorite artist that plays on KLRC?
Do you have any quirky habits?
I hate making the bed so I sleep on top of my covers with a throw blanket so I don’t have to make my bed in the morning and it always looks nice.
What's your favorite part of working at KLRC?
My favorite part of working at KLRC is that I get to interact with so many people that love the station. It is so cool to hear how KLRC has impacted their life and realize the work we are doing is having an impact for the gospel.
