It's A God Thing - Lacey (7/5/2010)

My name is Lacey and I'm 16 years old. I was dealt a rough life. My siblings were taken from my mom by an abusive husband for nine years. But God is so amazing and after all those years He graciously allowed things to happen.

They were put back into my parent's care five years ago. Having a mixed family is a very difficult thing to have to live through. We all fought, and I looked up to my older sisters followed in their footsteps. I was raised in church my whole life, but because of the influence my siblings had on me I let it get the best of me. I was into a lot of bad things.

I just want to say that in that moment of weakness I had God and after I came clean this year, my life has been amazing. Every time I stuggle with temptation, I question myself and I ask God to show me something either through songs or a message and it never fails.

I'll be listening to KLRC and "Who Am I" comes on and it lifts me up. I have no doubt that it's a God thing. He truly is amazing. Thank you KLRC for playing such amazing music!
