Drive-Thru Difference - Anonymous (11/12/2010)
I just wanted to share my drive-thru difference story with you. I am truly thankful!
Today I was taking my daughter for an orthodontist appointment. She is the fourth of our seven children and although we are blessed with a quiver, so far all in our quiver have needed braces. We were hoping to be told she just needed a retainer, but the recommendation for her was no different.
As other parents can relate to, the cost for braces can be overwhelming. Leaving the orthodontist office, thoughts of how we would make these payments lingered in my head. My daughter had missed lunch at school, so we pulled through several fast food establishments that were crowded and finally got in line at the Arby's on Walnut.
Imagine my surprise when the attendant told me our meal had been paid for by the car ahead of us. I was completely stunned! I had to pull over and read the note and gather my thoughts. It made my day!
I'm an avid listener of KLRC and wanted to thank the driver and you, KLRC, for making a difference and proving our God reigns! I'm anxious to return the favor.
